This has been a great series. I do think they need to wrap it up quickly, especially since Segel and Hannigan (from what I've heard) are planning on leaving at the end of this season.

From the way the storylines are progressing I think they've been banking on nine seasons. Meet the mother at the end of 8 and then show her and Ted's relationship throughout 9. If anyone of the 5 leave they should condense it into one season for sure
