The creator credits for the comic fans.
Comic legend Curt Swan gets a mention for co-creating Arm-Fall-Off-Boy (TDK).

well I for one fricking loved the movie. Flagg dieing pissed me off, but i understand why. most hated Boomerang, but I loved him in the films - but got pissed when he bought it at the beginning.
upshot, everyone on here should be fricking elated that Davidson got it in the face LOL.
more sequels by Gunn, and for the love of god - More King Shark!

As soon as he turned heel, you knew Gunn was about to give the audience what they wanted.

You knew most of that group was getting wiped out right away. I thought the others would be brought in afterwards. But making them a diversion so the others could get thru was genius. Amanda Waller is freaking evil in this one, and I loved it.

earlier in the movie they show Weasal Die and then reveal an alive weasel in their labs.
If you're talking about the Weasel that was licking the window, that was a flashback to 3 days prior to the beach landing.

fun fact - Angela Bassett is the original Amanda Waller in the Green Lantern film - did not realize they established her that far back.
I know why they wiped them out like that - had to show my they had the name. my wife kept thinking they were gonna kill Harley, and she was getting pissed about it lol

Ahh that makes sense.
ETA wouldn’t Waller be alerted that one of their subjects was alive and moving?

Plus about 100 "fricks", a penis, etc.
I must have missed the penis. I do recall there being some boobs in one scene though now that you mention that.
The language felt like it was in there just so they could get to an R rating.

Yeah this Waller is much closer to the comic book Walker. Great depiction.

Most of the gore was very cartoonish, to plain silly. Now, I watched it at home on a 60" with surround sound and not on IMAX, but although there were gratuitous levels of "gore", it didn't ever really shock me.
Yeah this is what I mean by it not feeling like an R rated movie. I finished it thinking it's probably okay for my 14 year old to watch. Going in, I was pretty sure it wouldn't be.

Didn't even come close to Deadpool level.
I would argue that it had even more than Deadpool. Especially with King Shark

You missed something. A flash back

The interstitial "chapter" titles had a very Will Eisner feel to them.

Yeah someone pointed that out earlier. Figured I was missing something like that.

Watched it last nigh, light years better than the first iteration. James Gunn writes some entertaining movies for sure.
