The biggest failure by the writers was during the Peacemaker v. Judomaster fight when Judomaster said "you have a weird, bubbly-shaped body." That line needed to be "You have a weird, toddler-shaped body." It was so close to a grand slam.

I’m not complaining, most everything thing DC puts out that’s available on HBOMAX is pretty good, especially the animated movies and series.

Did anyone catch the newspaper clipping of him catching Kite Man?
The best part of the show for me is the fact that it exists in the same universe as Justice League. All the little "facts" Peacemaker spouts off about Batman and Superman crack me up.

It took about 20 disasters to get there, but their plan of “build the team up movie first, then do the spin offs” counter plan to the MCU might finally be working how they intended

The Xray thing opens up a lot of canned worms full of plot holes if you think about it enough. Not that I really care that this show makes a whole lot of sense or anything, but I feel like they should’ve made some more advanced tech to be able to see the butterflies. Otherwise I feel like it would a helluva lot harder to hide the “deep state” going on. I mean you go through an X-ray machine everytime you fly

I feel like his rants where he just keeps going and going are some of the best parts of the series. This, when he’s annoyed with Vigilante in his dad’s portal armory, going off on Batman and Superman. Cena is perfect and hilarious in this role.

Apparently they reshot all of Vigilantes scenes after the original actor dropped out, so now I’m watching and realizing how little time Vigilante is on screen without his mask and talking with everyone else. They do a lot of POV shots to make him out of focus or the only one in focus
Even the picture they took in the episode tonight had him blurred out in the side, I assume because it was the other actor originally

Yeah but his xray vision was invented by a genius super villain. Big difference

Yeah for sure, which is why I’m suprised they didn’t throw in a line about it being an “advanced titronic metric reader” or some combinations of words that sound scientific but really just describe the plot armor

Honestly she’s a terrible actress when she has to show any sort of emotion but when she is just talking to people conversationally she is fine.
