re: James Cameron calls Oppenheimer a "moral cop-out" for not showing the aftermath

I thought it was handled perfectly: didn't shy away from it and didn't take an unnecessary, preachy stance which is exceedingly rare nowadays.
I know Cameron is the guy who sank the Titanic practically in real time, but that's not what this movie was about. I'd absolutely, without question, watch a Cameron film about Hiroshima should he make one, but good lord, not everything has to be 'Titanic'

Did Cameron miss Oppenheimer's whole moral struggle over creating what he did? His interaction with Einstein? Any of those things?
He fell asleep, clearly. But just thinking about the logistics of it all... how in the world do you even write-in what Cameron's suggesting? It would be jarringly out of place to have a random 20 minute section on Hiroshima.
Again, I'd watch a Hiroshima movie, but this one was about Oppenheimer and it was great.

I don’t know what his problem is. Just a few months later, we did get Godzilla Minus One.

James needs to STFU and get on with the Alita sequel.

Honestly he’s completely right here, and I hate James Cameron.

Not to mention Oppenheimer was at the absolute limit for 70mm IMAX reels. You would have to cut just as much as you add.

No opinion on what James said, but Oppenheimer was extremely overrated.

It’s mind numbing how Libs advocate for those that would disembowel them in a heartbeat because they think it’s for bigger sociopolitical virtue points.

Yeah, they didn't show the million plus lives the bombs SAVED, either.

Cameron has ALWAYS been insufferable. He's just gotten even moreso.

Cameron has yet to explain how he let Rose kill Jack.

What are the annual numbers on Americans killed from disembowelment by Japanese?

Your post is as idiotic as it is out of context.

The Japanese were arguably worse than the Nazis

The Chinese would agree & still hold a grudge to this day.

He’s been like that for a while.
This is the same guy who celebrated his Oscar win of Titanic, an incident where over 1000 people died, by saying “I’m the king of the world!”.
