Not knowing anything about it, I plan on watching it soon. I’ve heard the title a million time, and somehow I’ve never seen it. Im assuming it’s awesome but old. Comedy?

In a way, I envy you. Getting to watch it for the very first time.

There's some dated stuff in there, but it's a true classic.

It is a comedy. And as I’ve gotten older it has become one of the saddest movies I’ve seen.

Comedies with heart and emotion is a real lost genre.

I haven't either and I don't have plans to watch it.

It's not awesome, it's ok. It's charming. It's best attribute is that it ends well.

I've never really thought of it as a sad movie but you're right, it's tremendously sad.

You wanna hurt me? Go right ahead if it makes you feel any better. I'm an easy target. Yeah, you're right, I talk too much. I also listen too much. I could be a cold-hearted cynic like you... but I don't like to hurt people's feelings. Well, you think what you want about me; I'm not changing. I like... I like me. My wife likes me. My customers like me. 'Cause I'm the real article. What you see is what you get.

You wanna hurt me

This. I have it on Blu Ray and watch it on Thanksgiving night when all the family have left.

It's a movie with some very funny scenes. You'll be a better person for watching it.

Amen. Because it’s not just a comedy. It’s a complete movie that’s funny. It’s full of solid acting and drama and comedy and heart.

Movies now seem to get stuck in one box from script to screen and not deviate.

And when the truth of this monologue comes out . . . .

Poor, sweet Del. The armor he carries must be awfully heavy.
