I’ve been on a Three’s Company kick lately

I know it’s mainly nostalgic, but I just love that damn show.
John Ritter was so damn like able.
I was never a huge Suzanne Summers fan from an aesthetic standpoint, but I confess she was a smoke show during her run on the show.
The Ropers were awesome.
Norman Fell was awesome.
Don Knotts was also amazing.
I always loved the “Jack is Gay” dialogue that both the landlords played on
Larry (Richard Kline) was such a lovable Cad. (Also…a lieutenant in Nam btw)
I always loved Joyce DeWitt as the OT 5.
Even Terry and Cindy were awesome Eye Candy.
In summation as I’ve been binge watching on Pluto TV. It’s such a walk down memory lane. The decor, clothing, styles I remember as a kid..

It's perfect 80's cotton candy camp.
And Jenilee Harrison > Susanne Sommers

It’s funny as I look at that pic of Suzanne Summers.
If you watch the show, she was much better looking on the show (Live)
If that makes sense?
Kinda like Farrah Fawcett.
I feel she also had a real (live) charisma, that never showed up in the that classic poster of her

Would be funny to see the reaction from zoomers when you explain the concept of this show

Funny enough, same here. Pluto has an entire channel devoted to the series. The producers completely fricked the actors who played the Ropers.

I never found her attractive at all. Now Priscilla Barnes (Terri) was absolutely stunning.

I remember having a crush on Terri when I was little

Dramatic drop-off when Mayberry stepped in.
Norman Fell carried the show with Riiter.
Chrissy was useless apart from her natural assets. It really is just a comedy duo of Fell and Ritter and that didn't land as well when Knotts stepped in.

I would agree, she was the classic beauty on the show

I agree that Fell was my favorite in that sense, but I would say more of a dramatic shift rather than drop off with Knotts.
Fell had Helen so he was able to go back and forth with her and Jack.
Knotts played his typical self,
(And was successful) which actually I think is a nod to his fragile charm

It was the same show every show - some misunderstanding - but it still managed to make me laugh, The physical comedy by John Ritter was very underrated.
One other note, I always thought John Ritter had genuine gay mannerisms ironically enough. Never heard anything that would suggest he was IRL, but years later when he played the gay friend in Sling Blade it was even more ironic!

Always lked John Ritter and agree his physical comedy is very under rated. He was great in 8 Simple Rules too
Growing up listening to old C&W music I was amazed John is Tex Ritter's son.
For anyone who's a John Ritter fan do yourself a huge favor and watch Skin Deep (1989) if you haven't seen it before.

I’ve never heard the name Janet without thinking of that show

Yea, Sommers' face was messed up.
Nice legs and fartbox but that's where it ends.

A couple of great Murder, She Wrote overlaps. Larry plays an absolute piece of scum, high-powered Madison Avenue ad executive who is hustling hard for the corned beef castles account. He ends up getting bludgeoned to death for his troubles by [spoiler alert] Charles Emerson Winchester using an advertising award. Great episode.
And Terri plus the wife of a jockey brought to the country illegally by an underhanded trainer. She has a great Southern accent. [spoiler alert] She murders a scumbag to protect her man. I like to imagine she would do the same for me. Great, great episode.
Another pic for your troubles.

I tried watching it on some platform a while back.. it didn't age well, and it was cheesy as hell to begin with... but I liked it as a kid..

Yeah, I'll give you that. Makes sense.
Fell and Helen basically had their own show within a show and were so good got their own show.
Knott's was on an Island.
