I really wouldn't call this a remake. There was a TV miniseries 27 years ago but there's never been a movie adaptation of the story.

Down to 97%. Some jackass from Ireland gave it a negative review.

Must still be reeling from the McGregor fight.

I am so pumped to see this and I rarely care that much about horror releases.

We are all excited about the portrayal of Pennywise but maybe the most exciting thing to me was reading about the kids' performance and the chemistry they have. I was worried they'd cast a bunch of Disney Channel kids that couldn't act but apparently they killed it.

I feel like Jessica Chastain would be perfect to play older Beverly in the sequel. Just a random, thinking-out-loud comment.

I'm a little afraid to see this.

Which, I guess, is good.

I've got tickets to see this Thursday night.

Never saw the original because I was so deathly afraid of clowns after watching Poltergeist.

I've read some of the reviews and it sounds like they nailed it. I was worried when a saw that the embargo was so close to the release date. I just hope this is a sign of good things to come from WB.

Holy shite I'm so excited I forgot it comes out tomorrow.

I doubt I will see it opening weekend, though. I have a feeling someone is going to pull some crazy shite at a theater

I've got ~75 pages left in the book, trying to finish by the weekend. Love the book, glad the movie is getting good reviews so far.

I picture her more as Audra. Beaverlynhas big tits and is fuller body while Audra is classically beautiful

Is the sequel with the adults already in progress or were they waiting to see how this one went first?

Pre-Production is starting next spring. So it'll likely hit theaters in summer/fall of 2019. Andy Muschetti has confirmed that he will direct part 2. He even put another project on hold after Warner Bros. gave the green light for the sequel.
