I mean it's part scary part thriller but yes it could have been cut by about 20 minutes

They expected a scary movie, and they claimed it was nothing of the sort, and the movie kind of drug on and could of been shortened by 25-30mins easily.

It was always going to be more of a thriller than outright "scary". There were a couple of moments I legitimately jumped or was at the very least terrified for the kids. I don't disagree that it could've been shortened a bit but I don't think it really took away from the movie that much at all.

I'd also like to say, as someone that has lost a younger sibling suddenly, Bill did a pretty good job of portraying those emotions. Especially for a kid his age.

I also really appreciated the humor. Finn Wolfhard nailed that role. There were several LOL moments that even my retired parents appreciated (who loved the movie BTW).

She didn't scare me actually. Just thought it was weird. Pennywise was great.

Is it worth to see this in IMAX or should I just go regular?

I think we can safely say that the question of whether it will have a sequel or not has been answered.

I'm going see it tomorrow. Can't wait.

It's going to get a lot of repeat viewings too. I bet it ends up around 300 when said and done.

I went at 1115 last night and the theater was pretty much sold out. This is a phenomenon. Some of the best marketing in movie history.
