Just got out. I haven't ever read the book, nor seen the Tim Curry miniseries, but I thought it was outstanding. The cinematography/transitions were AMAZING.
The other huge win was the casting of the adult versions of the Losers Club.

This may have overtaken ‘Spanglish’ for worst movie I’ve ever seen in theaters. It’s bloated, the CGI is pathetic, and they absolutely waste Skarsgard.

How is this almost 3 hours long? The 2 hours and change of the first one was nice. I have a hard time believing this needs to be so long. I'll find out soon enough though.

I’m sorry if it upsets you that I didn’t think it was a good film. I’ve read the book, watched the earlier TV movies, and watched the previous Chapter. I enjoyed all of them and I’m a big fan of ‘IT’. This was awful.
It felt like they got A-list actors to do a 3 hour SyFy film.

Also, this doesn’t make any sense. If I had even the slightest history of going against the mainstream “grain”, maybe. I think we know who most of the trolls are around here, and I don’t think I’ve ever been accused of being on that list.
I thought this movie was really bad. Maybe I’ll give a much more comprehensive rundown as to why once more people have actually seen it and can discuss it instead of getting angry that I didn’t like a film that they haven’t seen and hope is good.
