Yes - it was Patrick Hockstetter.

Saw it Saturday. Checked my watch a lot. Not remotely as good as the first one. The forced gay just for the sake of it was ridiculous.

Also, the CGI "monsters" were dumb and could've been in Beetlejuice 25 years ago. This time around, Pennywise was goofy and not scary at all.

Yeah, the gratuitous "30% of the population is gay, is more enlightened than everybody else, and belong in cool places like NYC" was retarded.

Such virtue. Much signal, on the part of the filmmakers.

Besides, their math sucks arse on that. They're looking at 2-4% of the population, TOPS, but their projection game is strong, and their representation in entertainment industry is not indicative of the whole country.

Read the book!!! It's better than the old movie and the new movie.

Except, like most King books, the ending sucked.

Pissed me off there was a mortal kombat arcade machine when the bully is calling him a gay slur and making him leave the arcade.. when it was supposed to be in 1989. shite came out in 1992.

Do people building a set not check that shite specifically?

I caught that. I also noticed that the first Street Fighter game cabinet didn't have the big rubberized buttons that were to be pounded with your fist, but there might've been deluxe variants out there, and that was a plain one.

I, for one, am shocked that the mass child murdering clown is not a friend of the gay community.

I went ahead and looked that article up because it bothered me. You’ll all be relieved to know that it’s tongue in cheek.

This is false. Pennywise became a very popular meme by the gay community when they fan fictioned Itself with the Babadook. This is legit not a joke haha.

If you aren’t well versed on twitter I would understand why you would think that is tongue in cheek, but the writer is being serious lol.

Haven't seen it yet.

About to go this week to see it in a decently retro old school movie theater. $6 during the day, $8 at night.

Quite a few beers on tap too, large slice pizza. Looking forward to it.

Damn where at? I gotta hit this theater up.

I somewhat liked the movie, but it was a major disappointment.

Hader was great. Best part of the movie, but he overshadowed every other character. It was basically the Ritchie show for the whole movie.

McAvoy, Chastain, and fat kid/sexy adult were pretty much just there it seemed like.

The flashbacks were stupid and could have been all cut.

Pennywise was barely in the movie the first half, and what did he do? Barely anything, and why did he kill the gay dude at the beginning? We were taught in the first movie that he went after kids, and only kids, yet the first scene in the movie is of him killing an adult and eating him. He didnt scare him and feed off the fear. Just went for the heart.

Henry Bowers. Why was he in the movie?
