Between Noah & Samantha Bee, I can't stand all these "comedians" from other countries who come to America and do nothing, but rip it

I like his stand up. I don't watch his show because it's not as good without Stewart, but I couldn't care less about him "ripping" on the US. There's a lot to rip. Just because he's foreign, doesn't make him wrong.

There is a proper way to do "high-brow" humor. Noah has no idea what the frick that entails.

Rickey Gervais constantly pokes fun at America. However, Gervais is actually frickin' witty and clever. Bill Hicks, Doug Standhope, George Carlin, and a number of darker, irreverent American comics constantly critiqued this country.

But at least he is an actual African-American!

Hope this is a joke, because he doesn't even fit that criteria.

His first stand up was funny. I've caught bits and pieces of his show and didn't find it very funny

Only by people who feel the need to insist to everyone around them at all times that they are not racist.

That speech about him being afraid after trump was elected was lame. I don't find him funny. But at the same time, I don't find Tina Fey or Jimmy Fallon funny so I may be too tough on some people.

If you think Trump is literally Hitler and all white people are inherently racist then you would probably find him hilarious. Otherwise no.

I think most liberals think so because he strokes their silly delusional narrative. He is terrible on the daily show IMO. Unwatchable

The only time I've ever watched him was his show after the election

In all likelyhood that will remain the only time I've ever watched him

You have to understand these shows are not really comedy shows. They're the left's version of 700 Club and Sunday morning church programs. They give the holy word to true believers and let them join in fellowship with their own kind.

Add him to the Tiny Fey/Amy Poehler list of people who arent funny, but you would get angry looks if you said that at a local Starbucks in front of the black rim glasses/Mac Book crowd.

Ironically I think the Daily Show has been the worst possible thing that could have happened to him professionally. He seemed naturally funny in his stand up and now he's been indoctrinated into a really unfunny perpetual sense of outrage. On the rare times I try to give the show another chance it consistently disappoints.

The Daily Show is so much worse than it was under Stewart that I don't think they should even call it the same show. Almost nowhere (outside of college campuses) is it more obvious how disconnected modern leftism is from the previously cherished values of classical liberalism. This quivering mass of incoherent echo chamber narcissism and tribal warfare is the kind of degradation of media that reflects a society that has lost touch with the process by which democracy functions and civility exists.

It upsets me that these once entertaining shows have transitioned fully to being a liberal propaganda outlet. If Comedy Central didn't have South Park or futurama, I'd never watch which is a shame since I grew up on CC.

The downvotes you are getting prove the fact that people are so blind to what words actually mean lol.

Samantha Bee

I've wondered this about her. I never watched the Daily Show and had no idea who she was. Then I started seeing the commercials on TBS and none of them made her seem remotely funny. I see that she's being moved to a different night...I wonder if that's a sign that the show is failing.

You're not being too tough. Those are just two people who are not even remotely funny.

Tiny Fey is a decent writer for 30 Rock but overall her only skill is being a Sarah Palin clone once upon a time.

I've never found him funny. He just comes across as bitter. The show is pretty terrible. The audience makes it worse. They will laugh at anything.

His standup is pretty good. He's ok, at times, behind the desk, but he comes across as a little too smug, a lot too partisan, and always awkward, but not in a good way.

I think it's in his delivery for me. Something is just off. Samantha Bee I can't stand but that's because her commercials seem to be all over the place and they keep repeating the same one.

Since the Colbert Report ended I think the only show like that's like that is John Oliver.
