I mean, you have to hand it to the guy. He found the niche of high school and college aged kids that liked watching trash fight on television, and made millions out of it.

In the early 1990’s, I was invited to be a guest on Springer’s show. I wish I held on to the letter. Like most things in my life, it was the result of an extensive practical joke.

The Jerry Springer Show was LIT. There’d been nothing like it before. Watching trailer park trash cut-up in front of a live studio audience was TV gold.

The current show is a pretty sweet gig for Jerry. He speaks maybe 7-8 total in the show lets the guests shite all over themselves and then gets a few million.

There's a whole universe of Jerry Springer Show folks out there.
We were copying a club newsletter at a local Office Max and there was a guy there copying posters for 'rasslin' matches he was promoting. He really wanted us to notice that his main attraction had been a bouncer for Jerry Springer.
Just in case you wondered if there was life after springer.
