Holy shite how did I miss this post when I posted in it. That is so on the nose accurate. Perfect advice for TWD.

Season 2 is a brutal slog. The farm can burn in fire for eternity.

they spend an entire episode in a later season looking for a light bulb in a movie theater. That's the whole episode.

I guess I didn't make it this far.

I tried to finish the comic series but it jumped the shark too. Robert Kirkman just went off the deep end after he got famous.

Walk thru woods
Meet humans
Disagree with humans
Fight humans
Kill level boss
Make proclamation humans are the real danger, not the undead
Go back to walking thru woods

Next season - wash rinse repeat

Every season

OP, do NOT watch the spin off, "Fear the Walking Dead." Do not.

I forced myself through Seasons 1-3 because I had nothing better to do at the time. I actually enjoyed 4-6 overall, then 7 went downhill. So yeah, probably better not to watch it at all.

probably true but I will say I enjoyed the episodes when carol goes to the kingdom for the first time. The disorientation and surrealism was pretty well done and I liked the early Ezekiel character

but yeah, check out after that or at the end of that season

I was just thinking about TWD the other day. When they wanted to they did a good job of varying perspectives to show just how weird the world could be. I especially like the episodes when Rick/etc first make it to Alexandria thru the finale with the wolves/walkers massacre. That was good TV and there was nothing else like it

I bailed before the commonwealth and I still don’t know how it all ended and I’m fine with that

Negan has to be up there with the best villains in tv.

Carol's character arc is pretty good as well.

I like that they aren't afraid to kill off main/beloved characters.

Is arc the best word? Roller coaster? Crap chute?

They went too far with the constant mental/moral issues for her and Morgan. Just rehashed them every other season for a decade.

i think so. she went from the quiet domestic abuse victim to more of a warrior.

also, being one of her "children" leads to a shortened life expectancy.

Then mental, then a fighter, then mental, then a fighter, then mental, then a fighter.

finally finished all seasons.

Definitely better early on when it was living against the dead.

Got kind of repetitive. big bad, magnificent 7 defeat big bad. rinse and repeat,

I enjoyed the Negan years. I think he's one of the best villains on tv. Little pig little pig..

Spoliers....

I kept waiting for rick and michonne to show up and save the day.

also, what killed Rosita? Cancer? Walker bite? Don't thing they ever said.
