I had to look this up. The Gentlemen was a guy ritchie film that turned into the series. Mob land was co-created as well as produced and directed by Guy Ritchie for Paramount.
So I guess all of you saying it’s the same have a legitimate point ??

which means Mirren is doing an excellent job of acting.

just think she's too over the top. Like when Seraphina stops by and she's over the top nice to her....who wouldn't see through her suddenly being so bubbly?

Its not exactly the same and they both are great and worth the watch, but I see some similarities in both.

I'm more shocked that Helen Mirren was an extremely attractive woman at one time.

I read that she previously banged Mick Jagger, Keith Moon and Eric Clapton back in the 60s.

I'm beginning to wonder if Maeve and Eddie are going to frick. She is, after all, NOT his grandmother. She sure seemed like she was trying to seduce him in the last episode.

Huge fan of the show for sure. One hell of a cast. Hopefully it stays gritty and sticks to what makes it great

This thread is worthless without pics!

Mobland is a lot better than The Gentlemen. Season 1 of Gangs of London trumps both however.

Frankie has the potential to be an all time villain though

His arrival to the meet in episode 3 of season 2 is
