It's like I don't even know you.

I know...there are some "classics" that I've still never seen. And not because I avoided them, but because I just never did.

To each his own

took away a few,

quote:

Escape from NY
The Thing
Backdraft
Tombstone
Stargate
Executive Decision
Soldier
Miracle

Poseidon-haven't seen
Breakdown-haven't seen or don't remember
Unlawful Entry-haven't seen or don't remember

added a few:
Ones in bold are the best movies to me

Dark Blue-plays a great dirty cop (one of his best roles)
Tequila Sunrise-one of his & Mel's best movies
Used Cars_classic comedy (great movie)

The Mean Season-I'm a sucker for movies about journalist
The Best of Times-Little Giants w/adults
3000 Miles to Graceland-his character is great in this odd movie

He's not the greatest dramatic actor ever but by no means is he bad. Kind of a poor man's Jeff Bridges. One of the best action movie guys because he doesn't look like he trains for the roles. May have the "best" adult career for any child actor.

Hopefully it has the Carpenter and Russell commentary. Watch that after you've seen the movie, it is great.

He's a charismatic hard arse who more or less plays himself, like a lot of hollywood actors.

I think his comedic roles expand his range significantly. Because he doesn't necessarily play the same role in comedy mode, or play the straight man.

Nah. Segal dies immediately. The super air force team all frick everything up and it is up to two nerds to save the day, one of whom couldn't find a minute to change out of a tux.

Lame.

Hey, I love Lion King the Movie. The Broadway musical was just long and boring after the first opening scene.

There's a few roles that he can really nail but in general I think he's kind of average. Costner is/was better.

Tombstone is a great example because I routinely forget that Kurt is Wyatt. Most movies he is in, you see Kurt Russell on the screen, but I don't get that feeling in Tombstone. By comparison, Sam Elliot is Sam Elliot in that movie.

I love it when the announcer makes a big deal about Reno Hightower coming out for the second half wearing his white cleats , and its so muddy that you can't see them after two steps
