I can watch it every few months and laugh like I'm seeing it the first time every time.

I think Katt Williams' " Pimp Chronicles " beat KTS.. but neither are remotely close to the weakest act of Carlin or Pryor.

Why tha frick did DC have to go crazy

And why isnt CC offering up a contract for a renewal of the Chapelle show for half of what they originally offered? Theyre better off than when they made that offer and i dont see Chappelle saying no to that kind of money twice, he seems to really regret not taking that money

This. I would put Williams in the top 20, but Pryor, Carlin, Robin Williams, Steve Martin, Eddie Murphy, among others, were so good and so consistent for so long.

I might put Bill Cosby "Himself" as GOAT.

It's great, but there are some Pryor and Carlin specials that are without question better.

My favorite of all time and maybe the most critically acclaimed single stand-up ever is Eddie Murphy's "Raw".

Patrice O'Neal's Elephant in the Room is better.

He didn't exactly go crazy.

And hes been touring a ton recently (at least relative to what he was doing immediately after Chappelle's show ended)

I'm hoping he releases another standup based on these recent shows. I think thats a realistic expectation.

What I pray for is that he starts another sketch comedy show on Netflix (which has been rumored for a couple years). But this is beyond a realistic expectation

Chris Rock "Bring the Pain" is up there even though he acts like it never happened and has manged to make it mostly disappear from everywhere but the internet.

Gotta agree. Pryor, for me, was the GOAT

That is definitely one of my favorite stand-up specials. If Rock wasn't a comedian, he would have made an incredible preacher.

He overreacted to the way somebody on the crew laughed at him in blackface and began to question if viewers of the show were taking his comedy the wrong way.

Not like he did it on a whim. He had his reasons

Katt Williams' bullshite doesn't belong in the same sentence with Chapelle's stuff.
