How so? I don't think that's an unusual opinion at all.

Skyler character (now "Cielo") is downright ugly.

Prettier than Skyler in my opinion. Strong jaw Skylar looks like a transgender half the time.

season 5 is easily the worst of the series. those neo-nazi villains were just laughable

The best actor is the guy who is portraying Walter. And of course, no one can measure up. The cinematography and editing isnt up to par, which effects it too.

But tuco and the cousins are outright horrible.

I've seen better acting in epileptic whore houses.

Yeah, that's pretty stupid.

I agree. But it also had the most suspense by a large margin.

Give me last few eps of S4 all day.

Outside of Ozymandias, S5 was pretty bad

The final scene with Walter dying in a meth lab was the best part of the final season. That part at least was right.

I feel Walter underestimated Jack and his guys, blinded by his own ego. If he had looked at him in the same light as he did Gus, they would have been a non factor if Walter didnt have to go on the run.

Gus was far more dangerous and smarter than jack or any of his people. Even Mike didn't take the crew seriously when he said he researched Todd.

then what does?

Just curious. i for one have not watched BB.

Leaving out comedies and BBC, The Wire and Game of Thrones. Thrones has 3 seasons better than BB season 4 imo. 1,2,and 4.

I'm on my first watch and it definitely has some high points so far but I'm not seeing the OMG BEST SERIES EVER hype oozing off of this like I did with say The Wire..

I've just been cruising through on Netflix so I'm not certain of where I am but I'd say late season 2ish

1. Hype will kill anything.

2. Soon.

It's the highest rated season of the highest rated show in history. It's hardly an outlandish claim.
Highest rated where?

I think season 5 is better. At least the second half.

i'm with you on this.... second half of season 5 was the pinnacle of BB. Still wasn't as good as seasons 1-4 of the wire though.

Didn't like the wire, I watched it after watching breaking bad and it gets built up a lot.

It reminds me of the manny/mayweather fight.

I'm actually watching that right now. Season 1 was great. Season 2 has been slow pretty far. I admittedly have a hard time caring about the docks. Still, I'm really enjoying the show.

ok, im underestimating, but it wasnt nearly as well-written as the other seasons. they took the walking dead route and went for surface shock. it was breaking bad lite. they completely lost their direction. all they knew was that they wanted walt to lose everything. we get magnet vault heists, laser cutting a ziptie with a coffee machine wire, a ridiculous train heist, a shitty cliffhanger in the desert.

too much shite like that for such a character-driven show. they hit their pinnacle after season 4 and with all of the incoming mouthbreathing fans, they had to dumb it down like walking dead. they shouldve found a way to tie it up with gus. the last episodes of season 4 were downright masterful. the pacing was perfect

The Wire is good, but nowhere near the level of Breaking Bad.

I watched the first 4 seasons of The Wire over the span of a month or two.

I made it about 3-4 episodes into season 5 before I stopped giving a frick.
