THE consumate actress of our time. Her "Julia Child" is amazing. This is a role that could easily become a joke because of Mrs. Child's unique mannerisms and speech patterns which have been parodied often...Dan Ackroyd...but Streep becomes Child...comlpletely believable.

that accent is killing me. i cant stand listening to her talk. every movie thats set in Louisiana, they do this... the actors all have horrific southern hick accents, like thats they way everyone down here talks...

I find that Anna's portrayal of Sookie is whinier and less independent. But I don't have as many issues with her as Sookie compared to many of the fans.
