So what you’re saying is he’s ok with TENET being a shite show but Hacksaw Ridge is disqualifying? Seems like faux reasoning.

That's one of the funnier aspects of all the whining. The entire point of this forum is to discuss M/TV, the entire point of trailers and press releases and interviews is to get people talking about the movie. But apparently you're only supposed to talk about it in a certain way or people start whining that you're talking about it before you've seen it.

I would have liked to have seen Peckinpah's "The Odyssey".

He's had a great run behind the camera.
He screwed up with that Jewish rant because they do have power over Hollywood.
Apocalyptio was a movie that no one could understand the dialouge yet it was one of the most compelling stories out on film.

That movie was fricking awesome.

That movie was mind boggling insane. frick. Just a key 10 minute clip (the entrance to the capitol) was better than 88% of movies. Immersed as f.

Remember the movies he actually made that stuck true to the original narrative? Naw, just bring up works in progress which were never completed to distract & deflect from the valid point you oddly don’t want discussed.

I remember Apocalypto getting ripped to shreds for historical inaccuracies. Entertaining movie though.

Loved the movie, but yeah, it wasn't historically accurate at all.

That would have been awesome. It is called 'give a damn'. Mel Gibson is serious about the authenticity of his work and the legacy he will leave behind.

Neither was Braveheart, but don't care, it was awesome.
