Where are you people going to refine your oil and turn it into gasoline? Do you think the Texaco's will be magically supplied?

Siphon it from other crashed/parked cars. Those should not be in short supply, but in any manner, you should find a place to more or less stay and not be that mobile if you can help it.

Gas doesn't last forever you know. After sitting sedentary in a tank for about a year, gas goes bad.

The top of my rv will hold several solar panels. I'll google how to hook that shite up and get it to run.

Which is why you make sure you're in a stationary self-sustaining location before said gas goes bad. The vast majority of people will be dead a year later anyway.

Seriously bicycles are your best friends during the ZA. The downside is that if you run into a hoard you are screwed.

Bicycles should certainly be attached to the roof of your car or in the back of a pickup truck. Granted they're only to be used in extreme circumstances. If you're not on a highway or a fairly flat road when you're using them, you're fricked too. Its much better than running though, to where they should always be there just in case.

That'll be the first thing I look up. My battery will still be good.

Besides that, it was like a joke, man.

The Marauder is a great choice. It is a bad arse machine. Only down side is the gas mileage. Hopefully you can hole up in a gas station somewhere. I'd feel very safe driving around in this thing.

A hummer? My brother worked on hummer's in the national guard. Said they were a piece of shite, and always broke down.

If they ever built this - it would probably suffice.

from page one.

Simple V-6
Good gas mileage
Nice sized storage
room for four or five inside and an area to keep dry goods in the back
good ground clearance

A sweet ride.

What about a boat? A big yacht or something

Go in the middle of a big lake for awhile until things settle down.

Military HMMWVs do suck, but it's because they're driven hard buy soldiers who don't own them. When I served, every time I had the chance to take one off-road I dogged the frick out of it. I knew I wasn't footing the bill.
Even when run through the wringer, they are super easy to fix.
