D-Day in Saving Private Ryan is the GOAT for me. I've never seen any movie with a scene close to that in terms of the sustained intensity and emotion.
The opening sequence in Raiders of the Lost Ark is the best adventure/action scene ever, IMO.

That's why I put it on another level. It's not just gripping intensity, it holds you for 20-30 minutes, which is really difficult. Most movies wouldn't even try that, let alone nail it.

One of my all time favorite movie scenes is the boat scene from One Flew over the Cukoos Nest.
McMurphy introducing the nuts as Dr.'s is done so well.
Love him snubbing Harding, by saying, "Mr. Harding" in the middle of all of the doctors.
The same movie has the great Fake World Series call from McMurphy.
