Can someone give me a season 3 summary to remind me what happened or do they do that in episode 1 of s4?

You probably don’t need it.

I watched a recap and still have no clue what’s going on.

I do not recommend attempting what you are trying to do.
Season 3 shows us “the real world” where we see an average Joe construction worker played by the guy from Breaking Bad living a sad life. He’s alone talking to this AI program that simulates him talking to his now deceased friend he knew back when they served in the military together. To make side money, Breaking Bad guy uses this phone app that’s like uber, except when you’re accepting a job, you’re not picking someone up in your car, you’re participating in a crime. You can join in on a bank robbery, help provide cover for an assassination, etc, and you get paid through the app.
Anyways, it turns out that the purpose of Westworld wasn’t to perfect sentient robots or provide an enriching entertainment experience. It actually existed to study human behavior so that human lives could be accurately modeled by AI programs. As the season progresses, Breaking Bad, with the help of Maeve and Delores (who are always fighting each other for some reason) slowly uncover how AI has been using this data.
It turns out that all of human society is run by an AI program based off of the park’s data. This AI program started as an economics experiment to use human behavior data to try and predict stock prices, and it sorta worked. But as they ran the experiments ever longer into the future, it always seemed to predict a massive societal collapse in 20 years. So, rather than simply predict calamity, the AI was tasked with stopping, or at least stalling, it.
Now, everything is run by the sentient AI, and most people have no idea. Every human is tracked and their life trajectories are modeled by the AI. The AI intervenes people who have the potential to cause major problems and removes them from society somehow, and it’s not just like assassinating candidates for president. If you have bad genes, it will ensure you don’t get to pass them on, not by killing you, but by instead sabotaging your relationships. We find out that the AI intervened to destroy Breaking Bad guy’s love life, sabotage his career, and even created and runs the crime app that he participates in.
The AI has his entire life mapped out just like the scripts for the hosts in the park. It had determined that he had traits that shouldn’t be passed on, that he had dangerous skills that needed to be suppressed, but that he could be docile by confinement to a shitty, lonely, working class life. He’s not unique, either. There are millions like him that the AI has condemned this way. These are people whom the AI believes are charismatic or unstable enough to, in aggregate, trigger the events that lead to the societal collapse.
Eventually, Delores helps Breaking Bad guy take down and destroy the evil AI through riots and assassinations. Delores also kills the Man in Black, replacing him with a host. She does the same thing to some other people too in order to get access to money and resources to take down the AI. Delores and Aaron manage to make public the AI’s files on everyone, so each person can see how the AI has planned their lives (and deaths, Aaron had his death planned to be a suicide in ten years time). The season ends with the city in flames, rioting, with Aaron having inspired a Revolution, and with the AI destroyed, and the version of Delores that was in the Delores body, dead.
People no longer have their lives conspicuously planned by an algorithm and are free to make their own choices without an omniscient AI intervening to keep them on a pre-determined path.

This is better than any recap video. Thank you kingbob.

It’s really not. That’s a very condensed version that leaves a lot of stuff out.

No that’s all I needed because I’ve already watched the season just needed some reminders thanks

See, that recap sounds like a decent story.
But everyone says season 3 sucked even more than 2.
I haven’t watched 3, 2 was shitty enough to kill my interest.
It’s almost like Hollywood likes shouting themselves in the dick…

I gave up on West World after season 2. When I had to watch a 30 minute summary that explained the small details and subtle nuances of what occurred in the episode, that was too much work (or too much like work) for me.
For those of you who didn't, or don't, need the explanatory recaps, congratulations. Your ability to remember, connect, and make sense of the minutiae, far exceeds my ability or desire to do the same.
Watching West World, for me, was somewhat like reading a high-level textbook in Finance or Accounting. Just because I can do it, doesn't mean I want to spend a lot of time achieving the task.
Then again, it is our likes, dislikes, and abilities, that make the world such an interesting place.

I watched Season 3 and I can't even tell you what happened. Completely nonsensical and utterly forgettable

Season 3 has an awesome story and a truly fascinating premise. It’s shot well and acted well. I honestly don’t know what about it is so bad or why. All the pieces are there, but somehow, it’s less than the sum of its parts. It’s just…not good, and I can’t tell why.

I can tell you why. They stopped showing Delores's sweater puppies. Lost interest immediately.

Are you like 15 or something?
She has small tits, it's not like they are that great anyway.
