Watched it yesterday morning. I liked it, but it wasn't some great piece of cinema or anything.

I echo most of Pilot's thoughts in here. The actors made up for some shortcomings, and I thought it was acted well.

But for whatever reason, I was expecting more of the cartel raid. That happened about halfway through the movie and then the rest was them trying to get out of dodge. I wasn't expecting that. So I could have done with a little more of the action/raid and less of the escape.

But all in all it was an entertaining movie that kept me interested for two hours. I'd recommend it, just wouldn't heap praise upon it.

I'm on the fence. I ended up getting bored with it because like others said the money slowly lost was taking the excitement away. It was kind of predictable. The inconsistency in character felt forced. I know desperation can lead to poor judgement but damn, they had like 150 mil at least before Ben's character wanted more.

I honestly don't think a village of people in the Andes would challenge a group of obviously armed and trained men. Why wouldn't they say "give us some money and we'll escort you to the ocean?"

The movie just felt like shite happened to advance the plot and wouldn't actually happen.

Spoilers:

I didnt like the foreshadowing when the woman looked at all the cash and said "thats more than 75 Mil, its not all just his money"

I kept thinking other cartels would be coming after them but that never happened. I was also pissed that Ben got killed and even sicker that they just tossed the money down the cliff.

There better be a sequal that has a retrieval mission to go back and get all that money...

yea it seems really out of place looking back.

I honestly thought since the heist was fairly easy that someone would be coming after them.

I was expecting a cartel to have better damn security for their leader and however much cash.

Not to mention that he 100% would have had a private chapel on his property for his family to attend Mass.

I liked the actors. The story and action were letdowns.

This was my expectation going into it and my thoughts after seeing it. Good-not-great

It's an extremely forgettable heist film that is somewhat saved because of the cast.

You know it was good until I realized all of their own failure was if their own making. Thats it' I thought for sure they would have a huge bounty on their heads and we would get some damn action but nope....

In the end two punks pinned down 5 special forces and manage to kill one. There was no catharsis to the movie at all.

Well, they HAD 250 mil, which I think would have pretty much covered it.

Well, the punks had the high ground, which makes EVERYTHING else that much easier.

I still felt bad for the dang mule....LONNNNNG way down.
