Got to the end of Sleeping Dogs before g/f realized she was watching Russell Crowe. She still thinks it must have been CGI or make-up and not the real thing.

He just did JRE, talked about how he keeps his career in check per decade, mention he will be getting back into shape. Said he wanted to branch out and try different roles. Said he was in his best shape shooting Cinderella Man. Hardest role was Noah.

There was movie gold to be mined in the Patrick O’Brian Aubrey/Maturin novels (15 or so of them) and the end of Master and Commander clearly indicated a sequel. It is a shame that Crowe and the rest could not discipline themselves to hold that ship together.

Good episode with him on Joe Rogan recently. I think he said he was close to 300lbs at one point. Lots of injuries from stunts. Seems like a very nice guy. Great actor.

He seems like a normal bloke. Watched him on Rogan this week. He's not a woke fricker like most of hollywood. Ya Land of Bad was a good watch.
