That forced Stallone voice is unbelievably cringe.

100%

It's a great story, just use your normal voice.

I disagree. I thinks it’s a very believable version of Sly’s voice.

Th e story behind the making of the movie Rocky is really interesting. That looks like it'll be good.

Same guy played Al Pacino in The Offer. The dude likes to imitate other actors lol.

I promise you, if someone played a Stallone biopic with their normal voice instead of Stallone's, people would absolutely HATE it.

Some people have very iconic voices. It'd be the same if you hired someone to play Michael Jackson and suddenly the moment they open their mouth they sound like Morgan Freeman or James Earl Jones - you'd be pulled right out of the experience like slamming into an oncoming truck.

If we have recordings of what a person sounds like, then you should work hard to sound like that person if you're playing them. Leave your regular voice for fictional characters or for historical ones we have, at BEST, a vague notion of what they sound like.

What's weird is that his voice does sound cringey to me, but at the same time he fricking NAILS what SS sounds like. I mean, like he legit sounds like him if you close your eyes. But you can also tell it's someone mimicking it.

It's a weird vibe.

That movie looks great though. I'll definitely check that one out.

It is, but I'd rather see Stallone do it as a true documentary on the story than somebody cosplaying Stallone in a docu-drama

Didnt he help with the intro and broker the deal between Sly and Paramount?

He offered to give the script to ABC, because he was their biggest star at the time. They bought the script without Stallone as the actor, and when Winkler found out that his friend had to be the lead in the film, he went back to ABC and used his star power to get out of the deal.

He's not listed in the cast on IMDB either. Sharlto Copley would be great for that role though.

It's kind of strange. I would hope they'd include Winkler in this story. He played a huge role in Stallone's rise to fame.
