that girl killer was mad about what happened, but she was all with them when that truck went over the side

She wasn’t even the one that was iffy about it too

I keep remembering other small things- I love the idea of finding a totaled truck from a deadly car crash a year prior in general, but especially by just going to some random guy, telling him the make and model, and he just flops out a book and the first page has the exact truck they are looking for along with who had the truck registration

Only to be outdone by there being a camera that faces directly the specific grave they were looking at, then finding a care taker of the grave yard and him agreeing to “look at the tape” to see who left flowers at that grave. How far back is he going to look in the footage? Why would he agree to look for who put a flower on a grave in a grave yard? What are the chances that the camera gets a clear enough shot where you know who it is for, and for the love of god why is there a surveillance camera in a damn graveyard

Eh, none of that really matters. It was a fun movie. I thought it was neat that Freddy Prince Jr. finally got to play the killer after losing out to Skeet Ulrich for the role of Billy. Kevin Williamson liked him but the part wasn't right for him. Kevin knew he'd take not getting the part not well so he found him after the audition and told him he would find a part for him in his next film. Kevin Williamson's next film was of course I know what you did last summer and that's how Freddy met Sarah Michelle Gellar, they fall in love, etc. So it wasn't all that bad for him. Now, however, I know why Freddy didn't get the role in Scream. He plays the nice guy really well, but he's just not a believable bad guy. There wasn't really a "change" you know? Like Skeet's "We all go a little mad sometimes" line. That was a change. Freddy's was like "So I'm guessing you know it's me now" aw shucks. It just didn't work. That being said, the scenes with Julie, Brandy and Ray all together were a lot of fun and Sarah Michelle Gellar has still got it. It's a shame they killed her character off because she would would have elevated this movie a ton.

The movie had a budget of 18 million and has made 24.6 million after its first weekend. Probably had a marketing budget at 5 million at the most. Gonna be interesting to see where this one lands.

I want a true sequel to the original called…

I Kinda Recall What You Did 28 Summers Ago

Where the killer walks around, mostly confused, killing the wrong people because he forgot what they looked like
