Great show. The science is excellent and the casting and storyline are as well.
Looks like Netflix has picked-up S3.
Production budget must be huge considering the special effects, sets and props.

The attention to detail on the sciency things that most sci fi shows gloss over like the physics of space and zero g is very well done and really ads to the show. I did a rewatch of BSG last year and one thing that stood out to me about it was how it was so firmly rooted in a military background. All the focus on those little military details from the jargon to the social hierarchy gave BSG a unique personality and authenticity. I feel The Expanse does the same thing with the science of living and working in space. It's not the focus of the show but it's ever present and gives it a unique personality.

A little over 2 weeks ago SyFy said they weren't going to renew the show for Season 4. The Interwebz got busy, raised money to fly a plane over Amazon Studios headquarters and launch a model Rocinante into space, and Friday night Jeff Besoz announced that Amazon was picking up the show for future seasons. If you really get Prime for the Expanse make sure it’s the first show you watch after subscribing. A leak a few months ago showed that Amazon tracks First Watch shows for new subscribers and it’s an important metric for them keeping shows.
