I don't see how you can incorporate all of the xmen into the marvel universe

Are we supposed to believe now that all of the mutants just stood idly by while new York was trashed? Although I will say this is a good chance to completely start new with xmen. You can have a new Logan new dr.x new everything with the switch. Make nothing from fox canon. Except deadpool. He works since he knows he's in a movie already there's probably a few jokes he can even make about it

I wish someone would just take the entire superhero genre out back and put it down. It's ruining cinema

There's a fairly recent story line where professor x made the entire world forget that mutants exist.

Superhero films aren’t doing that. Technology, greed, and blockbusters are.

Please tell me how 8-10 movies a year ruin cinema.

They have many routes they can go.
X-force
Scarlet witch altering reality

But I think just throwing one or two in the mix would be fine..

I'd rather them reboot fantastic four and go that route

But if you add in 1 or 2 then they are all canon. And it wouldn't make sense for wolverine to be in it and them not use some of the other better x men.

Well... deadpool already includes the xmen without including all of them.
You have to just accept they exist. Just like every marvel stand alone film..

Please no. They’ve had 2 chances at this and both were horrible. Bring in Doctor Doom to face Spider-Man instead.

Doom doesn't exist without ff.

I was just saying when Thor faught a foe on earth (in Thor II) the other avengers were off doing their own thing.

Well Deadpool had a hellacarrier in it already. As far as incorporating all I can see it being a problem. It’s the same reason Sony can’t make their own Spider-Man right now without marvel. Tom Holland is in the avengers they can’t have him fighting against people not in the marvel universe.

That’s why I think they have the perfect opportunity to bring in just wolverine. He’s not in the current franchise anymore. I’m not sure how to make home just fit in but you could easily find a new wolverine that would only be in the MCU. and since he’s never been in an X-men movie he’s not part of their universe.

This makes zero sense. It's like saying opening new McDonalds restaurants is ruining food. There's still plenty of great food and there always will be. Go eat somewhere else.

I just don’t think t works because the X-men and one of their main villains magneto are entirely based on anonymity in a society that doesn’t accept mutants or enhanced individuals. You can’t habe people hate mutants but love Thor and captain America.

They did it in the comics for decades and no one ever questioned it. Even in alternate continuities when the sentinels were sent after enhanced humans like Captain America it was only after most of the mutants had already been eliminated.

And besides, I think you underestimate the general public's affinity for accepting blatant hypocrisy.

Why does every superhero/storyline have to be interconnected? What is the obsession with having every property intermingled? Why can’t some heroes or groups just exist in their own reality? The Avengers and XMen universes are already getting crowded for screen time as is.
