Holy crap.
It's very weird and sorta dark, which I like. It has (naked) Emma Stone, whom I like. It has Mark Ruffalo, whom I hate.
It has been a long time since we saw a mainline Hollywood actress take off her clothes this much and do so many sex scenes.
What is the general board view on this film? I'll finish it before I come back and read the comments.

Visually it was great
The sex and everything was way over the top. Was glad to finally finish the movie and get it over with
Everyone’s having sex with like a mental constitution of a 6 year old. Very creepy

I went into it expecting not to like it and ended up liking it a lot.
It was so interesting and strange, I appreciated something off its rocker, instead of the same old Hollywood sludge

I liked it well enough. It was the artsy version of a Skinamax movie. A young woman about to get married to a dull guy heads off across Europe to sow her wild oats - that's the sort of shite from the 70s that starred Sylvia Kristel. 16-year-old timbo was a big fan of those kinds of movies. We didn't have the internet in those days, so I had to make do with the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue or magazines I stole from the barber shop.

Okay, so I finished it. She became a prostitute right after I started back up.
So.
much.
fricking.
Emma is extremely comfortable being totally nude on camera.
4 stars.

Do you even Hollywood, bro?

The plot of a child brain in a woman's body and the things she does with it.. not a fan.
Has strong "Lolita" vibes, and with what is KNOWN about Hollywood's past and present, I'd have gone a different way.
Just my 2 cents.

You're god damn right.
And tell me, am I wrong about the plot? Was Emma's character a dead woman with the brain of a child in her? yes or no?

I hated it. Not taking away from the visuals or the cinematography, both were very, very well done. Acting was very good, mostly.
Movie just wasn't to me. The message falls flat and contradicts itself so much. Then it relied on shock value when it couldn't come up with something to actually say.

Hated it as well.
It’s pedophilic.
All the men are mean, gross, weak, or deviant. And they’re all bad. Bella good.
And that scene where she has sex with a man while his two very young sons watch. Gross.
