How in the world did I miss out on Whiplash

Watched it last night and it was incredible. Yeah I know it's still fresh but after thinking on it all day it might be the best movie I've seen since No Country for Old Men. Probably will re watch here soon. Script is top notch and JK Simmons was a savant.

This and Million Dollar Baby are movies I haven't watched because they appear to be about subjects I do not care about. I hate musical themed movies and not a fan of boxing.

On paper Whiplash doesn’t seem to appealing. But trust me, it’s not what you think it would be.
Million Dollar Baby I think is definitely overrated
But Whiplash is one where you should take the recommendation of damn near every person that likes movies
