How fake, woke and propagandist is the new “Cabrini” movie?

It’s directed by the same guy who directed Sound of Freedom.

Mother Cabrini is the first US citizen to be declared a Saint.

I hear it's on par with Fireproof starring Kirk Cameron

Angel Studios actually puts effort into hiring talented actors for their movies, which is something Kirk Cameron never figured out how to do.

That trailer looks like a beautifully shot film that even Spielberg couldn't do.

I might drag my arse to the Theaters for this.

Heard and read some reviews. Regular folks are saying it's Oscar material. That's encouraging. Doubt Fireproof was considered for an Oscar.

I don’t know but if there’s a female lead, a supporting LGBT actor or a prominent black character i expect a full meltdown report

I don't know why you would make these comments, but it does tell a sad tale of immigrants/Italians in America and New York. It is a story about a Sainted Nun, so it does have a lot of female empowerment, but what she went through was typical for that time. All of society wether it be religious, social, or political was controlled by men. That is why what she accomplished was so amazing as is her story.
You can be cynical if you want, but this is only a small portion of her accomplishments and they should be celebrated, regardless of who accomplished them. Her being a Saint is just lagniappe.
I am not sure why you started this thread, but Cabrini is definitely not the movie to complain about. It is a movie that everyone should see, especially modern Catholics. It also speaks to immigration and other issues we are currently dealing with. Overall it is more a about her and her perseverance than about religion.

I feel the OP is trolling. At least, I hope that's the case.

Worthy or not.

This movie will never get even a whiff of an Oscar.

I simply asked a simple question on a movie message board because I don’t know a single thing about the movie so I figured I would ask on guess what? A movie message board!

All I heard about it is that it’s about immigration. I have not seen any trailers for it and I don’t do rotten tomatoes or read liberal left scum reviews on the internet - hence the reason I asked on guess what? A fricking movie message board.

Stop being so sensitive

The preemptive/imaginary outrage trolls are so fricking tiresome. Some of yall are simply miserable people.

You could easily have looked up the movie, and found articles about the saint on whom it is based.

So you also know nothing at all about the saint - who has schools and churches named for her all over the United States of America; the movie; or the production company.

You're just here to spread retardation.
