I mean, I get some of the pacing issues because of trying to figure out what to do with Daemon at Harrenhal. But they could’ve condensed that down and still gotten the message across (Daemon losing his shite).
But it was criminal we didn’t even get the Battle of the Gullet. That’s just ridiculous to not even get there.
I don’t see anyway they carry 3-5 battles in Season 3 financially.

Well, there you have it. Either next season will be a constant orgasm of battles and major deaths, or we're getting 8 seasons.
They continue to make Rhaenyra more sympathetic, the men all seem to be neurotic shits and the women are somewhat reasonable. It's not ruining it for me, but the signs of a possible slide to full-retard are there.

That’s a great point. It definitely seems like they must have had their budget slashed when they were past the point of no return or something. There has to be some explanation for why they wouldn’t conclude any of the ongoing plot threads. It’s just hard for me to believe that this was the showrunners’ plan all along.
