New episode preview is up and it looks insane. Once Viserys dies the entire realm is going to pop off

Good episode. I didn't mind the new actors, and Alicent really looks like the same person, only older. Good choice.

I'm hoping when she said "Vhagar was stolen," in the preview , she happens to be talking about her sister without knowing.

Can’t help but keep rooting for Daemon for some reason. My favorite character by far.

It can get a new rider. Laena’s dragon has already has numerous riders. It’s an OG from the Conquest.

Honestly Viserys didn't look any sicker, just older. He was in bad shape at the end of the previous episode, but now it's been 10 years and he's not any worse. I was expecting them to show him getting that new treatment, assuming Mellos is gone and that younger one took his place, but they didn't mention anything.

New actors were fine, it’s going to take me forever to get the new kids names/parents right

Other than just physically looking older, his health seems to be much better.

I'm having trouble rooting for anybody in this show right now. It almost makes me not really want to watch.

Saw the preview for the next episode. The conflict between the children is really about to pop off. I think the dance of dragons begins by episode 8.

Dude looks much, much older. He's also missing an entire hand/arm and can barely stand up without assistqnce

So I knew they died in Harenhaal but didn’t realize it was Larys behind it. Is that in the book at all/canon, or changed for the show?

The book, as it does with a lot of things, is left vague and up to interpretation.

Book is written like a historical account ala Roman history. Where the various authors/maesters have biases that may not be trustworthy and details on the underlying machinations are not always there. Leaving the reader to have to fill in the gaps. Which was the case with Harenhall

I mean he is missing a whole arm now. He doesn't seem that much better.

Well considering they just had a scene where Laena's daughter was upset that she doesn't have a dragon yet, it seems logical that that dragon will end up being hers

I have to say watching the dragon training sessions, it is truly amazing all the seven kingdoms didn't go up in smoke with teenagers being in control of that kind of power.

Also the sound editing in this episode was something else, starting with the first second.

Kind of has a “Succession” vibe to it. Very engrossing but all the characters are despicable.

This series needs GOT types like Bron and Tyrion.

Maybe that’s why I couldn’t keep watching succession

It seemed like he was on the verge of death 10 years ago, so I'm probably giving him credit for just being around and functioning.
