Fair enough. I will from now on honor your request. I still think this threads is full of major emotional over reactions I didn’t spoil or even closely do slight spoilers hints to anything at all.

Everyone in here is telling you they’re considering your posts spoiler-ish but yeah maybe you’re the one that’s right

And yet not one example has been given lol. Regardless, I’m more interested in speaking to the shows quality rather than this and already told mick I’d do as he asks even though I do it thinking most of you are weak and are yet to give an example other than someone above putting forth that I said aemon takes Luces eye in fire and blood after his death. Oh major spoiler there thatll surely impact big things…: except it absolutely won’t and doesn’t mean anything in the slightest
I just rewatched the episode as I wasn’t aware of anything they’d be showing beforehand on my first watch last night. There are a lot of good things to say for it. It’s is as to be expected supremely well shot, the acting is across the board top of the game again as it has been in the other 9 top notch, I come down a tad softer on Rhaeynera and her characterization in the episode than I did initially as for tv purposes it sets a nice tonal balance between alicent and her not wanting to tip the audience into on camp. I still think the whole storm lands scene was abysmal though in its execution but beautiful in its rendition.
As I said earlier I give the season a 7.5 and best episode to 7 which was a top 5 in the whole HoTD and GoT series episode.

They must want some nonstop Michael Bay type action I guess. I don't find this show slow at all and this episode was my favorite of Season 1. If you want people to actually care about the characters, you have to have action less dialogue to make the rest of the show actually mean something to the viewer.
They will likely get it next season.

They have had to do a few interviews already promising increased pacing and not a slow burn that doesn’t pay off next season because of complaints about this seasons pacing. Personally, I thought it was paced very tight and well until 10 and while most say the time jumps hurt the pace I’d argue they helped it.

Nope, I won’t be suckered again. You little girls won’t have to worry about your little bubble being popped with reality anymore. Hooray for safe spaces and btw did you see that table, it owned bro.

Are you suggesting the show was bad? Or just this episode? If the former that’s a bad take, especially in this entertainment climate

Did Rhaenyra and Daemon actually want him killed, or was the plan all along for Laenor and Correy to fake Laenor's death and then escape? It wasn't clear to me whether the fake out was Rhaenyra's and Daemon's actual plan or if Correy and Laenor came up with it because Correy couldn't go through with actually killing him?
No one knows but the characters themselves. I do think the talk Daemon and Rhaenyra have around that time in the show implies they know he is alive.

And yet Episode 10, here you are.

Next season dipshit. Learn how to read
Posted on 10/24/22 at 7:17 pm to td01241
There were 3 good episodes, the rest was bad and for a season finale you don’t get much weaker.

Lol you're a terrible fricking troll. Always have been

Finally watched last two episodes and came here to get the reactions. I have to say, td01241 really killed the pacing of this thread and made it boring af.

Here’s a great interview with Olivia Cooke on Alicent and some behind the scenes stuff (her feet comments and then the other about the kid’s names are great). Thought some might enjoy.

Truth? You do realize that interpretation of any art is purely subjective right?
You didn’t like it. Ok, cool. Millions did.

Mad had his mind made up before the show even broadcasted.
He’s been hate watching from the beginning.

Daemon was definitely in on it, the scene that shows this is when he kills the guard on the staircase. That guard was the body that they threw in the fire and burned. Otherwise, why would Daemon kill that guard?

I don’t get why people are questioning this - everything from rhaenyra points to them facilitating his escape. Does she seem like the type to kill her husband? Daemon would but that was obviously the compromise that was struck.
