I've got a problem on my hands
Enjoy the nice day outside or keep watching this series. It keeps getting better and better through every episode

I love the double meaning of the FU at the end. His initials, yeah, but also an FU from Frank to us, the audience, because he knows we hate him for killing Zoe.
Maybe also an FU from the writers to us for killing off a fan favorite.
So well done.

I live right outside Washington and every time there is a scene there I get a little disappointed that place isn't real.

I loved the speech at the end. I got chills

This is the best way to do the threads, f everyone else. I have been wanting to see what others think so far but don't want any spoilers

I like this thread because I have only watched the first episode of season 2.
I like Jenny's move to frick over the liberal bitch. "I'll let that baby die inside you before I help you!" (Something along those lines)

So Frank is basically a serial killer now and I hate him. He's such a piece of shite.
It's crazy how Claire sees the news in the morning and pretty much know' sit was him and is almost proud of him it seems. frick the Underwood's, I'm on team #InvestigativeReporters

HOLY shite!
Just watched the last few minutes of Ep 1 and even though I had read about it here I was still scared shitless!!
Damn, what great writing.
Oh and btw.
Frank Underwood just skyrocketed to the top of my favorite all-time greatest villains with that last bit of dialogue. Such a GOAT performance by Spacey.
Still can't get over how they just then the tables around on us like that. "You think I've forgotten about you?"

The dead dog moment of season 2...?

The thing about that scene and information is; I know it was purely written for shock value. But, the more stressed an animal is at butcher time, the worse the quality of the meat will be. It's proven across all meats: chicken, beef, pork, etc. So the idea that the ribs were better from slow bleed pigs in a soundproof room is misleading at best.
But I'll reinterate that I know the scene was written for shock value.

No, not yet. Is it as good as this version? And how closely do the stick to the original story?
The thing that really brought me to love this series is the photography/way it was shot, that's so professional and movie-like. Also the acting..of course.

Me and my friends went ape shite when he said "welcome back"... by the way was that his first aside of the episode? I can't remember if he did it before but he said, "I didn't forget about you".

No she didn't. She gave her Jenny's job. She forced her hand to drop the lawsuit, but handing her CEO was far from fricking her over.

The episode was good but the sudden breaking of the fourth wall at the end made it goddamned spectacular. The writers' timing on that was immaculate; the pacing of the episode kind of idled by then POW! Zoe is gone. So we're sitting around the last 8 minutes, waiting for hints at what is coming next and, instead, we get Frank's/the writers' love letter to the audience. Sold me on this season.
