Reilly just isn't a good comedic actor. All of his roles in comedies were/are simple and simply written, anyone could have done them.

I'd say the opposite. His roles, outside of Walk Hard, aren't written particularly well but he turns them into something. If you catch some of his out takes, he's a master improviser, better than Ferrell honestly.

After Anchorman 2, Zoolander 2, and a host of other classic reboots/sequels, I'm more than happy to leave Step Brothers alone. Some things are just too hard to replicate, but even when they are replicated, it falls stale because part of what made the original hilarious is originality.

I’m sure this one will be entertaining so I’ll take a flyer on it.

Love the Fiennes as Moriarty and Laurie as Mycroft castings as well. Hopefully they play big roles.

This is either going to be the worst film ever or the best. There is no in between.

Oh man that is a great supporting cast.

ETA: for anyone who isn’t familiar with Rob Brydon, go check out the movie “The Trip”. Used to be on Netflix, not sure if it still is.

I haven't seen them in a while, but I think I remember noting that the dialogue wasn't as good in the second two as it was in the original. Could be wrong.
