Maybe not go that far, but as soon as Luke faced the AT-ATs, I was fully expecting him to block the blast using the Force and redirect them back their way. I was just confused when he was unscathed, and I really don’t understand how C-3PO was able to see him.

But you've come to a message board. People typically do have a variety of opinions. The most contentious issues are things that people just honestly disagree about. The solution to that disagreement is civility or just avoiding the environment with opinions you can't stand.
Complaining that there's a conventional wisdom or common opinion about things people talk about doesn't seem like it will go anywhere. If you don't like to be contradicted or disagreed with then don't seek out a message board with a variety of opinions.
If you were talking about monitoring the board for civility I could get totally behind you. We could easily have enforceable rules on name calling and profanity directed at others. The rules might have to be explicitly limited since people who disagree really do think the ideas or opinions of others can be worthy of contempt - but just posting to spam, harass, troll, or sidetrack a real discussion should at least be frowned upon.

I'm not proposing anything. I made an observation about the way things are, not the way I think things should be. I don't really care one way or the other. It's not my site and it's not my decision. I'm just here for the ride, and I'm going to enjoy it. One of the things I enjoy is poking fun at people who take themselves seriously.
OML is a fantastic example. He's so pissed off about something I said several weeks ago that he's still following me around, whining about anything I post. I'll not engage someone like him in serious discussion. Ever. I'll also not apologize for treating him as he deserves to be treated. If he or anyone else doesn't like it, they're free to move on.

I’m ending this argument, and I, you, and everyone else knows the only reason you like the Last Jedi is because this board hates, and you hate Blade Runner because this board likes it. This was never an argument. I don't care about your opinion. I gave you the opportunity to discuss the film, and you chose to run your mouth about how I just didn't "get it" instead. Trying to now pretend otherwise does not change that.
