Hate What I’m Doing But I’m Walking Into Theater Right Now To See RoS *It Was Bad,Real Bad

I despise TLJ. I think Kylo is a weak arse bitch. I think Rey is unlikeable and IDGAF if she lives or dies. I think Hux is a cartoon caricature. Finn is a waste. They’ve made Leia into a Mary Poppins space joke.
But I’m hoping for something...anything...just a little something...to wash the stain of TLJ away. My friends tell me RoS, while not great, is better than expected and light years better than TLJ.
I planned to watch it at home. But after further reflection I feel Star Wars movies are meant to be seen in a theater. I’ve seen every Star Wars movie in theater. Hopefully this one sends me out with a new hope.
I’m sitting all alone in a leather recliner in the middle of the empty theater. Showtime in 5 minutes.
I’ll keep you posted.

If you've seen "A New Hope", you've seen a much better movie with the exact same plot.
Watch for a character I call "new Porkins" late in the film. He does exactly what the original Porkins did in 1977.

Saw it recently and while it's got some obvious issues, it was at least enjoyable for the most part. Much of the movie seems like it's just trying its best to undo or fix TLJ, so I can't be too hard on RoS knowing the disaster that Abrams inherited
