Has anybody watched Roast Battle on Comedy Central?

Watched the first episode then kinda been in and out of it. The entire battle with the guy from the League was brutally awkward.

I watched one last night that had Ralphie May on it. It was so horrendous. Fat jokes about Ralphie and smell/stink jokes about the other guy, there just wasn't any originality. The played in sounds and those weird stage performers coming up were cringeworthy for such lame jokes. I love Jeff Ross and I always watch the roasts on comedy central, on any typical roast, but that duel was terrible.

Not a fan. It's all fairly obvious/lazy jokes. The first one the white girl was a racist in every joke.

Jimmy Carr absolutely destroyed Earl Skakel in that same episode, yet somehow lost to him. Jimmy Kimmel said it was because Carr had to read his jokes off a clipboard.
The clipboard didn't bother me at all. If they all had to read off clipboards to be as good as Carr, then they should all read off clipboards. Seriously. It was decimation.
Then Jeff Ross trying to console Carr for his loss by saying that now Americans would know who Jimmy Carr was was laughable. Carr is as famous as or more so than Ross, and he's funnier.

Seemed like a good premise but the show is poorly designed. And Jeff Ross is terrible, which sucks

It's fricking bad. Really, really bad.
The jokes are all weird and awkward and lazy. Although the funniest set I saw was the dude ragging on how fat Ralphie May was. Those were funny. And his about the dude smelling bad were just weird.
And the assholes that jump up and act out random things between jokes is just stupid as frick and really awkward.
Jeff Ross sucks as well, and that may be the problem. The funniest thing I saw was Jeselnik ragging on the contestants and getting into it with Whoopi Goldberg.
It also seems weird that they only get like four jokes apiece.
I thought it would be bad, and it's muh worse than I was expecting.

Mike Lawrence's joke about Ralphie May where he said "Black people like you because you break through walls and give them Kool Aid" made me laugh so hard

There's a lot that are but you're going to get that in that type of performance unless you want an overly produced show. There were plenty of really funny jokes.

The 9/11 thing those retards did was pretty funny. The rest is fricking dumb. I can't get over how incredibly awkward the roast was with the guy from The League. That shite was hard to watch.
