Newhart.
"Hi, I'm Larry, this is my brother Daryl, and this is my other brother Daryl."

The cast included "Harvey Vernon as racist officer Jasper DeWitt" and "DeWitt was shown to be a member of the local branch of the Ku Klux Klan and he often made disparaging comments against minorities, but was still a loyal and honest law enforcement officer."
Holy shite. I didn't remember that.
I don't either, the only thing I remember is the Mayor saying "handle it, handle it" . I still use that to this day, including the little hand movement.
Handle it, Roy...Handle it, Handle it

Not being able to find this show in syndication or online is a crime against humanity

quote:Great list, but this one is the winner.
Seeing Richard Mulligan it's impossible not to think of another not seen much lately show: SOAP
The national introduction to Mulligan, Billy Crystal, Katherine Helmond, Robert Guillaume, Robert Mandan, etc. Not an ageless classic, but a pretty good show in it's day.
