It was an incredible piece of storytelling. One of the best things I have ever seen on TV. It still kind of blows my mind.

Jurassic Bark made me feel worse than Hodor's scene. Maybe it's the music (or lack thereof) or perhaps the lack of character development of Hodor, but Jurassic Bark seems so much worse.

For everyone to decide:
Hodor's scene (Spoilers) SPOILERS if you haven't watched season 6 of GOT
The End of Jurassic Bark - Not Safe for Feels

Both are a little over 2 minutes (2:10 and 2:07 respectively). Watch the entirety of both and see which hits you in the feels more.

Ive been reading and watching Hodor for over 15 years now.

He's fleshed out in the books incredibly better than the show, so there's that. You always know there's some bad backstory on him but don't really know when and where it will be told.

Hodor episode was brutal for me.

I personally get more feels from Luck of the Fryish than Jurassic Bark

Yeah, I always felt that his death would be the saddest in the series and there was a reason he said Hodor. I teared up.

Game of Tones destroyed me out of nowhere

I was underwhelmed by the Hodor scene. Not even really sure why. Maybe I need to give it another shot.

I recently caught up/binge-watched Season 6 a few days ago and I'm pretty numb to deaths in the show at this point and then I got to that scene and I was like, "Wait, no...no...no...what the frick... "

Although, I swear to Christ if they kill another fricking direwolf I am going to lose my shite.

The Door just wrecked me. Absolutely brutal and beautiful.

Another "sacrifice" ending that had a profound effect on me was the ending to Gran Torino. Such a great combination of "sacrifice for others" and "like a boss".

That pne brongs the feels as well, but Jurassic Bark is possibly the most gutwrenching episode of television on ever. That 2 minutes at the end is on par with the opening sequence of "Up"

To this day, I will not watch that episode again.

American Dad had an episode that was just about as good. The episode was dedicated to a dog one of the writers lost.

Just watched it. Excellent! Great tie in. Going to finish this season by the weekend then start the books.

It gets me as well.

But Mad Men's "The Suitcase" (Season 4, Ep. 7) is one I'll always come back to when it comes to the depth in which it can evoke emotion that you don't really expect.

I love The Door, but I didn't cry when Hodor died.
