I can't say it enough, but Arya and Tyrion were done incredibly well this episode. Great job by HBO.
+1

And for Arya, I sort of missed what she said at the end. I heard her mention the helmet, but did she say that the curly haired blonde kid was the guy they were looking for? If that's the case, I guess they didn't know that all the potential heirs had dark hair.
Yeah, she said something like "he loved that helmet."

well if they were convinced all potential heirs have dark hair then that questions the queens children. All the kingsguard had going for them was he was a blacksmith apprentice with a bulls helmet. Only little problem I had with this episode was the tickler really didn't have the persona I thought he would. I thought he'd be more of a evil lighthearted guy. Sort of like a joker mentality where he would look like he would enjoy playing with his victims more.

I have a feeling we see more of the evil "playing" in the next episode given the screams in the preview.

next few episodes are going to be great

The Renly/Loras thing could have been omitted.
Dude that shite was painful to watch.
I hope those guys get paid extra for that, I had to cover my eyes for most of it.

Did Sansa hit a huge growth spurt? She was towering over that hooker (forgot her name).

Yeah she seems way taller. They all do. Arya, Sansa, even Gendry seems older. But these are teenagers after all. They're growing up with the show now.

All you book reading peeps go post in the other thread. Posts like this add nothing and mean nothing to people just trying to enjoy the show. We get it. You read a book. Congrats.

We're not spoiling anything. Who knows people might like to know if the character development is similar to the book.

I agree It's not spoiling anything. It just doesn't add any substance to this thread. I don't see the point.

it's an fun topic to debate if the character in the show fits what you think the character is like in the book. For people who haven't read the book they can learn how different or how similar it is to the book. You are a person who could care less about that but some of my friends who haven't read the books are curious to know how close the show is following to the book.

And your complaining about a non-spoiling post does?
I don't believe the thread title is "show watchers/non-readers only". Get a grip.

It's like watching a movie with someone who has seen it already and they are sitting there sayIng "oooo pay attention. This is a good part". If I cared about the characters matching the book I would read the book. I am just enjoying a bad arse tv show. Just my two cents. Didn't mean to offend anyone. Carry on.

I don't. I'd read the books if I wanted to know that.

That comparison doesn't really work with this situation. People know that people who read the book are probably going to have a better understanding of whats happening and can give more background info about why such and such is happening. There are just some people who don't have the time or don't have the patience to read a gigantic book.

Are those friends posting, and specifically asking about it in this thread?

It'd be better if it was though.

In the initial show thread it was expressed that people didn't want book spoilers, not book comparisons. Nothing he said is spoiling anything through the books that have already been represented. At all.
If you don't want any mention of the books what so ever then request it that way.
