Bastard maybe

Broken men?

Do you need a place for rapists to be given swords if there is no immediate danger?

Also the north is cool just taking the 6 Kingdoms criminals?

Hahaha exactly, I am sure the unsullied did realize that the tradition of Westros was to sentence people to Castle Black. Also, people forget the wall was to keep out the night king and wildlings. So there was still a castle black, he was probably sentenced because they wanted the wall to be rebuilt. It was the bear rabbit moment, they sentence Jon to the very thing he really wanted. Besides, the unsullied wanted to return home free and rule their domain, they are mercenaries. I am sure Sansa did not ride to king's landing without an army behind her, lets be serious. With the army from the north coming, the unsullied/darthraki alliance is not that strong without a dragon acting as artillery. Besides, Grey Worm was not stupid, if he had Jon's head, his head would have been on a lance courtesy of Ayra and Sansa (the north remembers). It cannot be lost on anyone in that group of people that the north hits back 10x harder than they get hit. Literally the entirety of House Frey was destroyed by a single Stark and I am sure they all know it. Better to cut your losses, go back home and rule as a king.

I still can’t believe how bad that finale was and I had read the spoilers weeks back. It felt like a show on the CW. So incredibly shitty.

Yea I dont know why they had to appease Grey Worm.

At the end of the day, the Unsullied and Dothraki could have still wrecked shop over whatever army the Vale and Dorne brought over with them (would have no reason to believe their whole army would be there). Clearly they still controlled KL so to make sure they go away you appease him.

Unsullied and Dothraki could have seriously wrecked shop.

WHo would stop them? THere are only a few thousand northmen. Iron Born lost their main navy. Dorne is probably intact. No more Lannister army. Riverlands/Edmere? Who knows. Tyrrell army is no more.

Westeros is VERY low on fighting men. That is another reason I'm not taking the ending too seriously. The foreign invaders could have raped, pillaged, and plundered some more and who could have stopped them?

Nice to see Edmere had no character development and learned nothing from years in the dungeons. ONce a fool, still a fool.

I do not think you can underestimate the lose of their queen and their dragon. It’s easy to say they could wreck kl, but ultimately the losses could have been killer. They could have won the battle and lost the war. There will always be more westros fighters, but the queen’s alliance was now in control but limited. It is not crazy to think that grey worm was just going through the motions and wanted to preserve his force for other goals.

Arya sails west until she ends up in...Lordaeron...as a plague of undeath is driving its crown prince to commit unspeakable atrocities...she learns magic, finds a dead blonde woman, takes her face and changes her name to...Jaina.

Completely irrelevant to the show really, but I just realized I had one wish for the last opening credits.. I know the city was destroyed so nothing was working but I wish they could’ve shown the Targaryen dragon symbol over KL where the stag had been for so long.

Theoretically there weren’t supposed to be many Unsullied and Dothraki either but Sansa and Greyworm said there were thousands of both somehow.

I just figured he surrendered. He wasnt going to kill multiple unsullied and that wasnt happening.

Grayworm was literally 2 minutes before that scene ready to execute people in the streets for serving Cersei and Tyrion for betraying her. You'd think he would've at minimum tried to frick Jon up.

Dude, in a fight, Jon eats grey worm up. The second that sword broke that spear, it would be over.

You know, I just had a crazy thought, that would have made this episode 100% better (and I'm now convinced it's how the books end).

You let this episode play out exactly as it has, but you add in 5 minutes at the end (an epilogue in the book).

Bran's advisors, as we saw, can't find Drogon. That basically tells us he isn't in Westeros, because he'd be pretty damn obvious.
So Bran wargs, into some seagulls or something, and crosses the Narrow Sea, into Essos.

And we find Drogon. He's in Volantis, perched on a wall of the main Temple of R'hllor, (which is supposed to be bigger than the Sept of Baelor in KL was).

Kinvara, the Red Priestess who visited Dany in Meereen, is reciting the prayer of resurrection over Dany's body, as Drogon looks on...

Before you scoff, remember a few things:
dragons are supposed to be intelligent, possibly moreso than men even. The priests of R'hllor (the Lord of Light) were all excited about Dany, they were discussing the Dragon Queen all over Essos. Death is a minor setback to R'hllor, one he can fix with blood and/or FIRE magic.
Drogon made a quick decision- he burned the Iron Throne to slag, scooped Dany's body up and left ASAP. The Throne was a message, clearly.

You wake her crazy arse back up, and she's coming back to Westeros, and she ain't lookin for love no more.

I find it interesting that Ned's 2 kids that directly witnessed the resurrections- Jon (himself) and Arya (who saw Thoros raise Beric), they get the frick out of Dodge. Jon goes beyond the Wall, Arya takes a boat West of Westeros. They aren't staying anywhere near a known power base in Westeros, and they aren't heading to Essos either. They're both getting lost.

Depends on how you view dragons.

In many many fantasy worlds dragons are on par with humans and sometimes surpass them in terms of intellegence. Drogon is young, but he isn't too young to understand what was going on.

Drogon would've followed Dany to whatever ends she wanted. With her gone, he has no reason to torch KL or stay around and kill more. He also would've loved and respected Jon. And he already lost two siblings and a mother figure trying to get to that throne room.

Drogon simply flying off with Dany's body was such an obvious and annoying door left open for sequels or a movie it was insulting to the fan base.

And the way it ended? Bran says, oh I can find Drogon. Seriously, frick Bran.

Or say Drogon goes out of control somewhere and there is literally only one person in the world who can have a chance of calming him down or stopping him - Jon.

Yes but the Westeros men need to seriously outnumber the Unsullied/Dothraki to have a fighting chance of beating them in combat.

Sansa declaring the north an independent kingdom was the most nonsensical part of the entire episode. A Stark was just fricking declared king, why split?

It was because Bran had her back that she made the move to ensure the independence of the North.
