I wouldn't sweat it dude. I'd wager that most of us here welcome the non readers. The more discussion the better.
There is always some sort of tension on television and movie show boards between those who have read the source material and those who have not. I think a few readers still chafe from the not always kind way book readers were told to stay away from the non reader threads. And of course, there may be a couple of people that just want to feel superior in any way they can.
I've been on both sides - on Walking Dead boards, I've never read the comics. On GoT boards I've read all the main books and a good bit of the supplemental material. So I know how it feels from both sides.
By the way - if you like reading books at all, I'd highly giving the ASOI&F books a try. They are very well written and entertaining.

Well, then these MFers need to be called out.
Not by drawing attn to the spoiler info, just RA the post and they will get banned. GoT is sacred ground to more than a few admins.
Exercise caution, though. I have no doubt that there are many of us here that have been dissecting this shite for a long time...and there is a good chance of an innocent coincidence via crackpotting.
If someone's "theory" sounds spoilerific AND their "member since" date / post count is recent and low...sick 'em, I say.
I can name at least 10 people in this thread that would NEVER let fly a spoiler on purpose. In fact, that same 10 I suspect haven't and won't read the script leaks...and they would include me on their lists.

Been more of a lurker on the GOT threads but it's getting so good I have to come out of the basement err cave. Whatever.
Agree. I guess everyone's different but I won't see or read any pre-released shows or scripts. I want to be in the moment when I watch.
This season is incredible, like nearly every single scene is at least well done and plot moving and all or most big scenes are perfectly written to not be too cliched or too "monkey wrench just to not be cliched" if you know what I mean.

That's right...except for the episode 4 TER thread, that was for THAT leaked episode only, and, of course, it was soon invaded by assholes that wanted to spread the whole season leaks.

There's always some production leaks. This one has happened now, but a photo of Kit and Peter Dinklage standing next to each other in costume got leaked, so it was known that those two would be in the same location at some point this season.

Yeah. I've avoided the script leaks and last week's hacked leaked episode like the plague (as well as the ones that I think leaked last season).
I kind of miss the days when things like casting news and maybe a pic taken of them shooting a scene from like a mile away were the worst spoilers out there.

I didnt finish the book series, but I've educated myself on the lore of ASOIAF extensively and read chapter synopsis of the books I havent read. Either way IDGAF who posts in here as long as there arent spoilers.

Same for me. I've read and watched a lot as far as learning about past events, the Houses and specific characters, even minor ones.

Yes, there's almost scene for scene descriptions out there. I've read all of them.
There are still people in this thread posting "theories" that are 100% in line with those leaks, and that's not coincidental. You can tell by the tone of how they "are just throwing this out there" and bullshite like that. People suck.
