Yeah, I was expecting some caracole tactics with the dothraki horsemen circling the Lannister army and shooting them with arrows so that they would clump up into one area and then Drogon would go and roast them...
but I was happy with the events that unfolded.
I also think that the river that Jaime fell in was not as deep as it appeared but was done for dramatic effect for the fade to black.
I also think that Tyrion tries to save him...

It wasn't the same knife. At least it doesn't look like it from season 1
Hmm, just rewatched the clip. No he doesn't use that specific dagger against him. In the books he does, but it is clearly a different dagger in the show.

Sorry, neither.
But you just proved you can has the quote function, so I hope you continue to use it for clarity purposes.

Episode gets bonus point for not having Eurons shitty acting in it.
Really a fantastic episode.

I've looked at her heart many times. Gotta say, quality heart she's got.
I mean both of her hearts were a pretty significant plot point in season 1.

I know you're one of the biggest fans that posts on here. And this isn't directed all the way at you, but, some of y'all take this show a little too seriously. I think some of y'all have a legit emotional connection with fictional characters.
I think if you don't watch or read good material and not have an emotional connection to it then it's not good material.
I know people, men and women, who have teared up over shows before. Books as well. I'd think you're a bit cold hearted if you never have.

I knew it was different in the show.
Didn't remember it being the same in the books. Does LF make a reference to using it or something? I've done a few re-reads and didn't remember this.

I have to admit that I love to hate Euron.

Does anyone think Jon bent the knee to Dany in the cave in order to get her to fight with him in the north? They never showed that he answered her, they just showed them leaving the cave.

Good art makes you feel things. This is excellent art. It's going to bring about some emotional reactions. It'd be way weirder to not feel anything, honestly.
Idk, I don't really feel emotionally attached to any of the characters on the show. I want Jon to ultimately come out on top of this thing, and I wouldn't like it if he didn't. But I wouldn't like get teary eyed at Arya coming home or something like that.

Hey, can you email me your number so I can call you whenever I lose my car keys?

Considering the preview showed her sitting on a dragon who is yelling at him..... I'm going with no.

Have not read this thread yet. But I am rewatching this episode.
So what if.......
Bran is immune to Littlefinger because he wants nothing.
But Area can fall under his control because she wants to kill people on her list.
This may be why Bran could give up the dagger but she treasures it.

To each their own.
Just pointing out that having an emotional reaction to fiction isn't really strange at all.

I haven't read it in a while, but I think Ned wore the dagger to court with Cersei behind him, and LF drew it from behind Ned as he went for his sword. The Wiki of Ice and Fire says that the dagger specifically was used against Ned.
