Yea, i'm glad olenna went out like that even though i wanted her to stay around and counsel dany for awhile.

I hated how cryptic bran was being. He's becoming more despondant every time we see him. He's gonna be almost mute by the time jon gets home.

He reminded her of the night she got raped. Not quite the happy reunion Sansa was hoping for.

Except for the part where Sansa's ideas are way better/more logical than Jon Snow -Jon Snow ignores Sansa's "Ramsay is going to trick/trap you" advice, requires Sansa's help when he gets his army trapped/near massacred -Jon Snow has Vale Knights in Winterfell and decides to not reward them Northern castles for saving his arse, instead gives them back to Karstark/Umbers -Jon Snow just forgets to tell Sansa pre meeting he is going to give her power when he visits Danny at Dragonstone -Jon Snow goes to Dragonstone only to be effectively held hostage, just like Sansa said he would be

Was coming to post this but my memory wasn't good enough to remember all of this shite. Sansa is for sure the better ruler. Jon follows emotion over common sense. Sansa has been through hell and come out the other side, and she has learned a lot. Of course, it will all work out in the end in Jon's favor because he's the star of the show in the end, but in reality Sansa should rule.

Oh, and Jamie WILL be the one who kills Cersei. They haven't been building up the whole Kingslayer thing for all these years, as well as pursuing his character change arc, for this not to happen.

Great episode

I'm really starting to like Euron, lol

Am I the only one who thinks Dany is a terrible actress?

Emilia Clarke should be so happy she locked down this role 8 seasons. If she wasn't in a more minor role she probably would have been recast or written out.

Most of her bannermen probably betrayed her when Tarly joined Cersei. They swore an oath to her but her ally (Dany) brought an army of savages to their shores.

So the second convo that dany and jon have on the stairs outside, she says "we all enjoy what we are good at". He says, "I don't." And she gives him a funny look. I was thinking maybe this was a low key way for him to tell her he isn't a threat and wont take her kingdom. Agree or am i reading that scene wrong?

I think the look she gives him is because it shocked her that he said he didn't enjoy leading/fighting which he is good at, and she believed him. I think it kind of plays back to Davos' speech to her about how Jon came into power, because the people chose him despite him being a bastard. I think she actually believed Jon when he said he didn't enjoy leading, and she realized he is doing it anyways because he is willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good.

And somehow missed Jon Snow and his crew sailing by.

They wouldn't cross paths. Jon sailed from the North and Euron would have sailed South through the Step Stones for Casterly Rock.

Yeah-but the part where he was allowed to step up to the Iron Throne without the Mountain or anyone batting an eye was bizarre.

She's good enough. There are worse.

That would actually be interesting if this is the result of them collapsing Faegon in Danny's storyline.

Bran might need to register as a sex offender.

It was nice to find out Jamie had Widow's Wail. But then again no one would waste a Valyrian sword and especially not the Lannisters since they lost their ancestral one generations ago.

I hate some of the stupidness of Euron("Give your uncle a kiss"), but love the character.

Emily Clarks acting this episode was the best it has been in awhile this episode

Some of the writing has gotten extremely cliche the past couple of seasons, and especially this season. I think some of the Roger Moore era James Bond writers must have been hired on for GOT.

And Euron has started wearing mascara. Odd. Didn't know he was emo. He must have run into Jack Sparrow between seasons 6 and 7 and got some pirate make-up tips.
