Yeah, it has to be Dorne. The Dornish hate any descendents of House Gardener. They certainly aren't friends with the lannisters And not that distance matters in the show but.. Dorne is closest to mereen

Yeah probably but Dorne sucks and the Martells are extinct.

Seems like Varys would go with anyone who opposes the Lannisters.

Perhaps he tries to form an alliance with Jon Snow, or would that be too perfect?

Well, once LF ousts him in some form or another, yes it is a strong possibility... but I don't think Varys will be the one to carry out this deal. It has to be Tyrion.

My bet is Varys is in Dorne trying to establish a safe beachhead for Dany's ships.

I said earlier, the endgame minus WW will be Varys in the South against Littlefinger in the North.

You could have the Others breach the wall around the same time that Dany lands in Dorne. Others marching south with winter overtaking Westeros and pushing Jon back while Dany marches north with the dragons eventually meeting up for final battle somewhere from the Trident to the Neck

I don't. I really don't think LF understands the difference between obsession and love. LF's obsession is revenge. I highly doubt he'd hesitate to sacrifice Sansa if it benefitted him. He never seemed to be all that torn up about Cat's death. He merely projected his obsessive feelings of Cat onto her daughter. Like Walder Frey, he'd find another young woman to put his feelings towards if Sansa were to be killed.

Now LF has openly betrayed the Crown using Sansa and Jon, and has essentially united 3 of the 7 Kingdoms under Sansa (the Riverlands aren't obeying the Freys at all).

Well, he hasn't technically betrayed the crown yet... he did what Cersei told him to do, take out the boltons. I'm sure LF's play is to demand Sansa marry him, or her and Jon are getting turned in.

I'm pretty sure that's going to get back to her that he helped Sansa and Ned Stark's bastard take back Winterfell. That's a very open betrayal regardless. The only reason she wanted the Boltons to pay is for defending Sansa.

Considering that Sansa was a lannister prisoner and escaped immediately after Joffreys murder, yeah, anyone helping her is an enemy of the crown.

In reality though none of that shite will matter in 1 week

By the way, just went back and started watching the Ozzy Man Reviews on YouTube for season 1. Really funny shite, and it's crazy how far the production quality of GoT has come.

Though it is kind of sad seeing just how much major shite seemed to happen in every single episode of the first season, and now it seems like most of the newer seasons have only a few major scenes each episode.

Definitely worth checking them out if you haven't watched his reviews yet.

Everything I've heard is Jon Snow is a politically savvy Ned Stark. Who's to say Jon Snow doesn't beat LF at his own game by playing Sansa against LF? Jon told Sansa in the preview that they needed to be very careful now because they have enemies everywhere. Maybe he's already onto LF's shenanigans?

I mean honestly, Sansa can't forget that ole dude sold her into marriage with a person that was part of the murdering of a lot of her family. Also, in the preview at the godswood, it kinda looked like Sansa and LF may have been at an impasse.

And hell, maybe Sansa is playing LF herself when she said in the letter that he'd be rewarded.

Jon hasn't done anything to make Sansa distrust him. If she falls into LF's clutches and plots against Jon, I will be really pissed.

Has anyone found and gold nuggets in the Hodor thread?
