Possibly the current battle that is going on in Mereen. It would be kind of cool if they cut back and forth between the two of them. Even if you hate the Dany storyline, it's still a huge naval assault, on a pyramid, with a possible naval battle between the slavers and the Ironborn.

Sansa's letter to the Blackfish:

Deserved or not I don't see it happening this season. I would have preferred to know the truth in the beginning (first book or first season). We still need a marriage decree if we get a reveal. Blackfyres were full Targaryen and they were still considered false dragons. If Daemon was false (his dad was king and his mother should been a queen in her own right) how can Jon be considered a true Targ?

I get the feeling that Jon will find some kind of sealed letter in lyannas tomb once they get back to winterfell. Although I don't know what the point of that would be with howland reed still around somewhere.

A full Direwolf pack cresting a ridge and tearing into the Frey/Bolton flank would be the most glorious thing to happen this season.

What do you mean?

I think it will be better if the episode focuses entirely on the battle. It would take something away if in between battle scenes, they cut to Daenerys/Arya/etc. for 5 minutes. I think this episode should be focused entirely on the north.

I'm not going to lie, I would enjoy seeing Nymeria make a dramatic entrance, even though I'm sure many would find it cheesy.

My guess is the episode starts with Ghost sending out a raven to a nondescript recipient.

Friendly neighborhood Hodor here. I've been doing a little digging lately into past lore and other stuff. Question, is it ever stated in the books that Westeros and Essos are connected at The Land of Always Winter. I think it's cool that each continent has it's version of The Wall (Essos is called watch towers or something)with the White Walkers stuck in between. I'd love to see that area of Essos fleshed out on the show.

if Jon Sansa and Davos all make it through somebody besides Ramsay and rickon has to go

I think it's more likely that we meet some great new characters that we lose. (Like Karsi in Hardhome). Ramsay and Rickon are pretty much a given. Jon, Sansa, and Davos all have way more to their stories. Tormund is the voice of the Wildlings, so he needs to be around longer to establish them as firm allies to the people of the North.

I think we lose Ramsay (finally, PTL), Rickon, and Wun Wun.

Essos clearly doesn't extend much more north than the Neck in Westeros, but there is the theory that the land of Always Winter just 'goes' north until it's the easternmost portion of Essos.

I think GRRM already said the Essos extends to the Lands of Always Winter is not true

The legend of Azir mahi mahi (fire Jesus) started in Essos correct? I'm assuming the titty witches are of Essos lineage. I would just really like to know more about that area.

He did say his world was round and wouldn't it be too much of a coincidence if both continents would have walls and white walkers if they didn't share the home base of the white walkers?
