Does he though? With Rickon found, his book plot is wrapped up. And with stannis dead and Jon alive, his show plot is wrapped up. 20:1 odds he dies Sunday. I'm not happy about it, but it's probably gonna happen

Plus it looks like he has found Shireen's funeral pyre. He is gonna go mad and kill a bunch of Boltons on his way out.

I'm going to be pissed if Davos dies.

Like casting a Harry Potter spell that immediately kills the character. Congrats lady, his blood is on your hands.

Littlefinger taking winterfell.
I think it's setting up for Sansa to agree to marry him as his "reward." This gives him a hold on the north that's easier to maintain without having to destroy the Starks. These last two episodes will finally prove that the North remembers, I suspect.

Danny and her fricking dragons and siege and shite about to be joined by the greyjoys soon
If there is some way to destroy the slavers while saving those ships, that fleet added to the Greyjoys would make one strong freaking navy for Dany.

Sansa marrying Littlefinger

Oh, I feel the same way. But I think Sansa is learning the game. And I think she has plans for LF. His weakness is thinking she's the same helpless girl he sold to Ramsay. He will see a strong hold on the north by marrying a Stark....but the North remembers.......

I agree that he has little left to do, except killing Mel for talking Stannis into killing Shireen. A lot of Stannis' soldiers deserted after that and there has to be at least one or two of them creeping around somewhere.

Would love to see her kill him while having sex on their wedding night

The other witches didn't see a man come back to life, the same guy who presents an almost unique threat to by far the most powerful army in the world.

He comes and goes all at once. It fits in with his teleporting abilities pretty well. You might be onto something.

Her game is still pretty weak. She has Brienne of Tarth and that's about it. We saw how Glover rebuffed her. The Wildlings are there for Jon. The other Houses are there for a combination of hating Boltons and Jon/Sansa.
And let's not forget Robin is Lord of the Vale. And Littlefinger has Robin wrapped around his finger. And like I said earlier, LF has at least 30k men. He's not dying.

Well, yeah-- confronting him was a sign of immaturity-- LF only did that once -- with Cersei and almost had his throat slashed for it.

I've said before that I think Mel might be on a mission to kill all of the false messiahs and that she might actually see Jon as a threat. Either way, she has successfully killed of the entire Baratheon house.

then why would she have brought him back?

Then why did Mel raise him from the dead?
Also, she looked pretty despondent after Stannis' death.
