Me thinks this is a reaction to him seeing a flayed Rickon....
We already know arisen Jon isn't big on mercy, if that's what it is he might just go Mongol of Winterfell.

I could see this-- she always had that Cat influenced "better than the bastard" attitude, hopefully she's grown out of it but who knows.

I don't think Jon wants the North-- at least for anything more than a way to stop the Walkers-- if he wanted power he wouldn't have given the Lord Commanders title to Ed. Its actually one of the traits that makes him best suited to end up with it all in the end.

I just don't see how Jon and his army can win this. They are VASTLY outnumbered, right?
They do have a Giant and Wildings and Jon has won against odds before

GOT S6:E9 "Bastard Bowl for the Literate" (no leak info)

Or has it been the HS's endgame all along to throw KL into chaos?
Not sure if it's ever been brought up, but there's a theory that the High Sparrow is actually Howland Reed.
This would make a perfect motive for a man who didn't actually believe all the religious bull shite and just wanted the Lannisters stripped of power to avenge the Starks.
Also be a hell of a greeting for Jon riding South after saving the world (assuming he takes the white walkers prior to heading to Kings Landing)

Knights of he Vale will bail Jon out. He's not going to lose.. much of the story's arc revolves around him and has been leading up to this. Ramsay will eat it, if not in battle then shortly thereafter.

I think Tormund will end up being a Lord by the end of the season.

The house of Giantsbane sounds pretty sweet. What will the sigil be? A she-bear?

Could be a penis we know Tormund enjoys talking about other guys members

agree with everything except LF taking winterfell
this season is about wrapping up dangling threads and getting pieces in place, and every time we've suspected subterfuge the story has played out simply and to the point
LF will uphold his promise to protect Sansa given a second chance to do so, and will restore her to her family's seat. After that who know but he has the vale and should know by now that the lannisters are reeling. To me the smart play is get the hell out of the north for now

I also think the only main characters that will die are rickon and Ramsay in that order. The writers appear to really enjoy tormunds character and the giant is evidently that last one. Davos still has story left to tell and the red titty witch still has to wrap up the whole prince/promise thing in a way that makes some sense, considering the other titty witches think it is danaerys

In another pic they show smallJon umber with soldiers with those pointed helms behind him.

According to canon and most reasonable accounts from other media and games, the Vale should be able to muster at least 30,000 men, Littlefinger could crush both armies in battle and take over yet he hasn't. I believe he truly wants to help Sansa, probably so he can frick her good right in the ......

It also shows Ramsey with Karstark and Umber infantry in his army. Maybe SmallJon rethinks his stance and sends his cavalry to Jon's aid, but I highly doubt he'd have his cavalry attack his own infantry. The cavalry Jon is facing doesn't appear to be the Knights of the Vale, either. We've seen the armor from the Knights of the Vale and it isn't the armor that we've seen them wear before; it appears to be the armor of a northern house, so maybe we finally get to see the Maderlys and they come to Jon's aid?

The guy directly above John in the second line of cavalry appears to have a red X on his helm. My guess is still Bolton's.

Looks like it. Maybe it's the old Vertigo camera trick and they're showed to look like they're right in front of him when they are actually far away.
Either that, or Jon's getting trampled this week. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted.
